We have been learning about the summer learning journey and we are writing about it then we saw the Maui and the big fish on the summer learning journey website.


 Maui dream of going fishing so when he asked his brother if he can go fishing they laugh at Maui they said you are to little to come fishing and you are the youngest in the family. So on that night Maui went out of the Village and got on the canoe and went of in to the dark sea. In the morning Maui said a Prayer when he finish 
He started to get lots of fish. Then when the brothers woke up they saw canoe not close to the shore so the brothers came down when the brothers came down Maui jumped out of the canoe then the brothers saw all of the fish that he catched himself. Then the brothers were jealous so they went back into the sea then Maui did a Prayer he told his brothers to put their hooks down in the water then he began to say the Prayer then they start to catch lots of fish then Maui pulled the big fish under the sea and it became the north land.

Yesterday me and my friends were doing a word search about all of the reindeer’s names.

The First thing that you have to do is look at the letter then you have to for cupid so let's look for the letter c if you see the letter c look if it is going up look up if it is going right then look right. 


If there is a another word like dasher the look for dasher if it is going down then look down if it is going left then look left.


If you are looking for the letter dancer then you look for the letter if it’s going Diagonal then look diagonal to find it.


If you are looking for the letter comet then you have to Diagonal for the letter or somewhere else.



If you are looking for the letter Blitzen then look diagonal down to look for it.



If you are looking for the word donner look if it is going diagonal up or diagonal down.

If you want to look for prancer you have to look left or right. 

If you want look for reindeer then look diagonal up or left or diagonal down.

If you want to look for Rudolph then look diagonal down or right or diagonal up.

If you want to look for vixen then look up or down or left or right or diagonal up or diagonal down. 

How to get ready for Christmas eve

This week we have been learning about a Procedure and a Procedure is telling someone what to do.


1: check if your Christmas tree is up properly



2: check if you put on some Christmas Decoration and some candy canes on.



3: when you Poured the milk in the cup you need to check if it is expired.



4: when you make cookies don’t make it smoke & burn Santa will hate it.



5: you need to Prepare you and your family's Feast. 



6: you need to put a big star on top of the Christmas tree.



7:  don’t over cook the ham in the oven Santa won’t like it.



8: You need to put some carrot out for the reindeer's.



9: you need to check if you are ready for Christmas eve.



10: check if you put some Christmas lights on the tree.



11: make sure if you put some present under the tree.



12: open your present that has been given to you.

Giving food to reindeer's.

This week we have been learning about a persuasion.
it is when you change other peoples mind. 

Reindeer's need food because they always run out of energy.

We Should give carrots to the reindeer's because they work so much that they don’t get to eat. Santa only feeds the reindeer's when they a finish.

 We need to feed reindeer's more and more so they can have Enough energy to go and drop of the Present then they can go back home and eat  more food.  The reindeer's can have lots of food when the come back from the dropping of the present.

When Santa goes on his sled he Should put some carrots in it so when the reindeer's are tired he can give some carrots to the reindeer's.
